Terms and conditions apply to all services (including mobile services) offered as part of BIPS (hereinafter "BIPS") brand. By signing in, receiving Bitcoins or using BIPS in any manner you agree to these Terms of Use. BIPS reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The most current version, and therefore the active agreement, is always available on this website.
If you want to use BIPS, you must first create an account. All you need to create an account is a valid email address and a password of your choosing. Additionally you may create an account using your Facebook, Twitter or Google. Accounts created are both for personal and business use.
As a user of BIPS you only need to provide an email address to create an account. However if you would like to take full advantage of the features BIPS offers, you must verify your identity by providing information such as name, mailing address, zip code, age, etc.
You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account information, including username and password. In the event of misuse or suspected misuse of your account, you must immediately notify BIPS. BIPS on suspicion of abuse can block your account. You assume all liabilities arising from unauthorized access of your account.
If you chose to decline the Terms of Use or for any reason decide BIPS is not for you, you may at any time terminate your account. Your account will be permanently deleted from our system and cannot be recovered. We may however keep relevant information on file as required for accounting purposes.
BIPS reserves the right to unilaterally terminate your use of the Service, either temporarily or permanently in the event of : unacceptable user behavior, attempted abuse of others 'accounts, attempts to gain access to others' data or any other reason BIPS deems necessary.
BIPS collects statistics and data through BIPS services in order to improve usability, reliability and product functionality.
One method BIPS uses to collect data about your use of BIPS services is through the use of cookies (small files placed on your hard drive). These help to analyze visits to our services and help us to deliver a more useful final product.
BIPS takes safeguarding your privacy seriously. Specific items of personal information will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have expressly accepted this. This includes name, address, email and phone number.
BIPS will never share your specific consumption data to third parties without your express consent.
BIPS's technical staff is authorized to access data when necessary. This typically includes investigating suspicious transactions, technical problems and irregularities.
BIPS uses information about consumption on a statistical level, which your consumption data can be included. This happens for example if users want to compare their own consumption of a particular social group or the resale of statistics to third parties. BIPS ensures that statistical data does not contain personally identifying information and therefore can not be traced back to the individual user.
Information collected through BIPS will be treated in accordance with current danish legislation and the Data Protection Agency guidelines.
BIPS is the owner of all content including blog posts, articles, videos, tips and advice as posted on the BIPS website unless otherwise stated.

The data that is communicated back and forth between BIPS and your computer is encrypted with a 256-bit SSL certificate. This means no one can intercept the data stream between BIPS and you, decoding it. BIPS uses the same safety standards as most banks, in many cases much higher.
While we aim for 100% server up-time, we realize this isn't always possible. We are constantly working on improvements and performing upgrades which may result in server outages. When you create an account on BIPS, you agree to the status of the service at that time.
BIPS reserves the right to perform maintenance or changes to the service at any time it sees fit. This may result in periods during which the service may be temporarily unavailable. BIPS will, to the extent that it is possible, announce such interruptions in advance. However, it is not required to do so and is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from server outages.
You are responsible for the activities performed under your account on BIPS. BIPS shall not be liable for your or other users' content. If you come across content that is not correct, offensive or against the Terms of Use, you should report this to BIPS (feedback@BIPS) immediately. BIPS reserves the right to delete content at any time it deems necessary.
BIPS is committed to the high standard of data security and precision. However BIPS shall not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of malfunctions, errors, security breaches or any other reason. In cases where BIPS establishes contact between the user and the third party, BIPS shall not be liable for any agreements and contracts concluded between these parties.
These Terms were last updated on Setember 11, 2013 and replaces all previous versions of this document. In the event of any disagreement, this document shall be considered final. This agreement remains in effect until a new version is released.
